Kidney Cancer - Sign and Symptoms
In most cases, people only develop signs of kidney cancer during the mid-to-late stages of the disease.
The most common symptoms of kidney cancer are:
- Blood in your urine
- Constant pain below the ribs
- A lump or swelling in your side
Rare symptoms of kidney cancer are:
- Unexplained weight loss and/or loss of appetite
- Extreme tiredness
- High blood pressure
- Night sweats
- High temperature
You should see your doctor if you have these symptoms. If you have BHD, it is important to have regular scans to monitor your kidneys so any tumours are found before these symptoms develop.
